amber-odin
The Odin compiler and its language server as Debian packages, so building the Amber applications starts with one apt line.
A page of Shared packages.
The applications are written in Odin, and Ubuntu’s
package called odin is an unrelated program. amber-odin packages the
upstream compiler under /usr/lib/amber-odin with /usr/bin/odin beside it,
and amber-ols adds the ols language server, built against the same compiler.
A monthly job repackages each upstream dev-YYYY-MM release after checking its
checksum, so the version reads like 2026.08+dev. The same compiler is
available to CI through a GitHub Action, setup-amber-odin, and to Flatpak
builds through an SDK extension on the Amber Linux Flatpak remote.
sudo apt install amber-odin amber-ols
